Booking & Scheduling

1. How far in advance should I book my session?

For Center Hanoi, Da Nang, Hoi An, and Saigon sessions, we recommend booking at least 3–5 days in advance to secure your preferred date and time slot. For Northern Vietnam destinations such as Sapa, Ninh Binh, or the Ha Giang Loop, we recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks ahead due to transportation and logistics coordination.

2. Can I reschedule or cancel my session?

You are welcome to reschedule or cancel your session free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled starting time.

3. What should I expect if it rains — before or during our photoshoot?

If rain occurs before the session begins, we offer a free reschedule to another date, or we can move to one of our suggested indoor locations if you prefer to continue on the same day. If neither option works for you, we will cancel the session and refund your deposit in full.

If rain occurs during the session, the same options apply — a free reschedule or a move to an indoor location. If you prefer to end the session at that point, payment will be calculated proportionally based on the time actually spent shooting from the scheduled start until the moment we stopped.

4. What is the difference between the Team Photographer and Founder Experience?

The Team Photographer option pairs you with one of our trained photographers, each of whom works under the same visual philosophy and shooting approach as Long Nguyen. The Founder Experience means Long himself will lead your session — bringing his personal knowledge of Hanoi's streets, his eye for quiet details, and the contextual storytelling that comes from years of working closely with this city.

5. What should I wear?

We generally suggest wearing vibrant, expressive colors rather than monotone outfits — they tend to photograph beautifully against Vietnam's layered visual environment. If your route includes temples or pagodas, please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees out of respect for the space. Either way, avoid very bright neon colors or busy patterns if you'd like the surroundings to remain part of the story.

6. Do I need to prepare anything before the session?

No formal preparation is needed. If you have a specific mood, style, or reference images in mind, feel free to share them with us in advance so we can plan accordingly. Otherwise, simply arrive with comfortable footwear — most of our Hanoi routes involve walking through narrow streets and uneven surfaces.

7. Can I combine locations from different suggested routes?

Yes. Our suggested routes are designed as starting points, not fixed itineraries. If you have specific locations in mind, we are happy to build a custom route around your preferences. Simply let us know when you reach out to book.

8. Will you give directions during the shoot, or is it more candid?

Both. We will guide you through natural movements and positioning when needed, but our approach is never rigidly posed. The goal is for your images to feel like genuine moments rather than rehearsed ones — so we work with your energy, not against it.

Photos & Delivery

9. How long until I receive my photos?

Unedited photos are delivered within 48 hours after your session. Once you send us your selection of images to be edited, the finished edits are delivered within 5–7 business days. For film photography, color film scans are delivered within 7 days and black & white within 15 days after the session.

10. How will the photos be delivered?

Via a private online gallery link from which you can download all files directly.

11. Do I receive the RAW files as well?

Yes. All packages include the full set of unedited RAW and JPEG files in addition to your edited selections.

12. Can I request additional edited photos beyond my package limit?

Yes. Additional edits can be arranged at an extra fee. Simply let us know after you receive your unedited gallery and we will provide a quote.

Payments & Logistics

13. Is a deposit required to confirm my booking?

A deposit is not required to secure your slot. However, if you'd like to take advantage of our 10% Early Bird Discount for bookings made 2 or more weeks in advance, a 25% deposit via PayPal is needed to activate the offer.

14. When do I pay the remaining balance?

A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking with our 10% Early Bird Discount. The remaining balance is due after your photography session, before the edited photos are delivered.

15. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash in VND or USD on the day of the shoot, as well as PayPal in USD for international transfers.

16. For Northern Vietnam trips, do you arrange transportation?

Yes. We offer a private car service add-on that covers pickup from your hotel in Hanoi and travel together with your photographer to the destination. Details and pricing are available in the Northern Vietnam price table.
